Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor
Imagine your most self-conscious OTP person giving the other a striptease.
This doesn’t work for Smashball Milkshake because, even though she’s relatively self-conscious sometimes, Hanneke still thinks she’s hot shit and would gladly do this if it were asked of her.
*cough Aris for Dallond cough*
BUNNY IT WOULD BE MAGIC because he’d be the most willing audience ever and if she got nervous he’d take over and help out with his mouth
It would be adorable, kinky and perfect. Brb gonna think about this all day

- Gold and Silver Pomander, 16th Century
***Pomander - a ball made of perfumes, such as ambergris (whence the name),musk, or civet. The pomander was worn or carried in a vase, also known by the same name, as a protection against infection in times of pestilence or merely as a useful article to modify bad smells. The globular cases which contained the pomanders were hung from a neck-chain or belt, or attached to the girdle, and were usually perforated and made of gold or silver. Sometimes they contained several partitions, in each of which was placed a different perfume.
I love this, sorry don’t know who it is.

Ancient ivory carvings made by Phoenician artists some 3,000 years ago have long hidden a secret, even while being openly displayed in museums around the world: The sculptures were originally painted with colorful pigments, and some were decorated with gold.
Researchers based in France and Germany report chemical analyses showing that 8th-century B.C. Phoenician ivory artifacts bear metal traces that are invisible to the naked eye (Anal. Chem. 2013, DOI: 10.1021/ac4006167).
These metals are found in pigments commonly used in antiquity, such as the copper-based pigment Egyptian blue or the iron-based pigment hematite. The metals are not normally in ivory nor in the soil where the artifacts were long buried, explains Ina Reiche, a chemist at the Laboratory of Molecular & Structural Archaeology, in Paris. Read more.
Scientists have theorized that ancient humans evolved by adapting to environmental change. Now they describe a role reversal with alarming implications.
Evolutionists have long suggested that modern humans are, at least in part, a product of millions of years of evolutionary adaptation to changing environments across the globe. Now a broad body of scholars and scientists are saying that the roles have been reversed — that humans have become, rather than the acted upon, the instigators of environmental change, with likely dire implications if steps are not taken to address the shifts. No issue reflects this more, they maintain, than humankind’s critical relationship with water.
Paleoanthropologists, archaeologists, and a variety of other scientists have engaged themselves for decades in researching the internal and external mechanisms of human evolution, a key element of which has been the impact of the environment — climatological, geological, and biological — on humans over 3 - 4 million years. Central to this research has been the archaeological and paleontological evidence that has emerged to support the success with which certain species of humans, Homo sapiens or modern humans being the lone survivor, have adapted to shifts in climate and the availabilty and allocation of water. With Mierrik gone to do something or other with her grandparents - to train, Veldessian presumed - the Chiss was left to his own devices. He found himself settled on a shady bench in one of the resort gardens. It wasn’t a type he saw often and that rarely made an appearance on holovision. Perhaps the greens were too close to brown, the sunlight too patchy. Large, old, thick-trunked trees reached across the groves and paths, branches twining together like fingers. Below them were mostly bushes and long-bladed grass with dirt paths looping around aimlessly. The mass of tree and leaf gave the impression of a solid weight around him, like packed earth. He took comfort in it.
Veldessian hadn’t realized how little he did on his own, without Mierrik around. He couldn’t remember much of his free time before they had become close, possibly because he rarely did anything of note. He wiled away the time with a book or a play or music, without pursuing anything in detail beyond what was required of him. He had no hobbies beyond the passive observation of the galaxy around him.
The realization made him sit up straighter. He had been under the impression that hobbies would be distractions from his duties - but now he wasn’t so sure. An itch wormed his way up his back; he wanted to discuss this with Mierrik, but he didn’t want to disturb her time with her family.
Footsteps made him look up.
